VC-R
Recycled Aluminosilicate Reinforcing Filler for Passenger Tire Treads
What is VC-R?
VC-R is a processed aluminosilicate filler (round/blocky morphology, amorphous grain structure) engineered for use as a reinforcing filler in passenger car radial (PCR) tread compounds. It’s produced from industrial waste-stream minerals (≈70% recycled content) with proprietary processing to enable dispersion, strong polymer-filler interaction, and silica compatibility.
Why it matters: VC-R allows partial substitution of precipitated silica in treads — supporting sustainability targets and supply resilience while maintaining key performance metrics.
Applications
Reinforcing filler in PCR tire tread compounds
Benefits
Lower viscosity and faster cure with greater scorch safety
Comparable tensile strength and wear resistance to silica
Improved rolling resistance predictor
Maintains wet traction predictor
Slightly softer Shore A hardness with balanced stiffness
Enables partial silica replacement in tire tread formulations
Composed of 70% recycled waste stream aluminosilicate, which contributes to reducing supply chain risks and a more sustainable industry with full circularity
Lowers compound cost/wgt and volume cost
Availability
VC-R will be sold in 25kg and 1000kg bulk bags.

Sustainability
VC-R is produced from industrial waste-stream minerals (≈70% recycled content) using low-impact processing. It is inert, safe, and designed to lower environmental burden relative to conventional materials.
