Vecor Technologies was recently mentioned in Food & Beverage Industry News as one of the industry partners contributing to the Australian Research Council (ARC)–supported Smart Greenhouse research hub (E2Crop Hub) led by RMIT University. This $25 million initiative brings together leading research and industry partners to advance sustainable protected cropping through renewable energy and intelligent greenhouse design.

Our Role in the Smart Greenhouse Hub

As an industry contributor, Vecor Technologies is supporting the project through sodium-ion battery (SIB) energy storage – technology designed to help enable continuous renewable power for greenhouse operations.

These attributes align with the hub’s goals of improving energy efficiency, reducing emissions, and strengthening resilience in controlled-environment agriculture.

Our SIB platform provides:
